Unless you have decided to avoid say e-mail, Twitter or Facebook, you have surely seen the YouTube clip of an argument and fistfight between a belligerent Black man and spunky older White man making the social media rounds.



Titled AC TRANSIT BUS FIGHT I AM A MOTHERF**KER and posted only yesterday (February 16, 2010), the three minute and 21 second clip has already been viewed over 500,000 times.

In the video two men -- one black, one white -- aboard an AC Transit bus begin arguing after the latter attempts to take up the former's alleged offer to shine his Stacy Adams (hey, it's Oakland). Long story short, and as history has proved repeatedly, a misunderstanding along racial lines leads to fisticuffs.

But the clip didn't spread like wildfire due to a disagreement in the racial demographics of shoe shine men. It was because at first glance all bets were on the loudmouthed, black guy physically getting the better of the 67 year old, St. Nicholas bearded white guy. That is until after the fists begin flying, it is the black guy -- who at 50 years old, with hair braids, isn't exactly a spring chicken himself -- who was left bloodied and asking for an ambulance, while swearing revenge, of course.

The woman who uploaded the now infamous video, user iyannaw08, has posted a video response offering further detail into the incident and answering accusations that she stole the bearded white guy's bag (she didn't).

The only thing missing is the shoe shine advocate's pride, and maybe some teeth.
